Happy National Day

Not much update this month, but cheers for 50 years of independence :-)

Taj Mahal, Agra

Went to Agra last Saturday to visit one of Taj Mahal. It took us more than 3 hours to reach there from New Delhi via car, and the weather was EXTREMELY hot. The magnificent mausoleum is nevertheless worth visiting, as it’s one of the seven wonders in the world.

Here are some photos I’ve taken during the trip but not perfect quality as the weather was too hot for me to try out different settings of my camera to achieve the best result:

TrackID

TrackID™ is a handy function in most of the newer and higher end Sony Ericsson mobile phones nowadays, allowing you to record a few seconds of a song and get track, artist and album information sent to your phone in seconds.

As I personally think it’s an interesting feature that is still unaware by many of the SE phones owner, I’ve decided to write a guide in Spherebox on how to use TrackID in my SE W880i

UAC notification

User Account Control (UAC) is a feature introduced in Windows Vista to improve the security of Windows by limiting applications to standard user privileges until an administrator authorizes an increase in privilege level.

If you’re annoyed by the UAC notifications that prompt up every time you execute an EXE file or run a program even though you already know that it’s 100% safe, here’s a quick writeup by me to guide you on how to disable UAC notification, and save you from the hassle of doing more just to achieve the same task.

July Delhi trip: Some Trivia

Autorickshaw

Hello guys, back from Delhi, the trip is shorter than expected (4 days)… It was so busy that I did not have time to do any visiting, but here are the things that I can share:

  • It’s the second city in India I’ve ever visited (first is Mumbai)
  • Compare to Mumbai, it’s a bigger city in term of capacity but less populous (18 million to 13 million)
  • The above photo of Auto-rickshaw is the only one I’ve snapped throughout the trip (taken with my W880i walkman phone, since I didn’t bring my Sony DSC-T20 there)
  • I’ve spent only 10 Rupee (which is less than RM1) in Delhi, for tips, all my meals are free :-D and I didn’t buy anything at all
  • The time to travel between hotel and client’s office is 1 hour, means I’ve spent roughly 6 hours in car to travel back and forth the office.
  • It’s the first time I meet and even work together with a Brazilian.

Overall it’s a really short trip with hectic schedule, but great experience nevertheless. I’m going there for another trip in August so hope that I can share more by then.

Off to New Delhi

Going to New Delhi tomorrow for 5 days. It’s gonna be a challenging week for me -.- Take care everyone.
