Samoa Trip (part 1)
Nov 10th, 2006 by ck
There will be no new blog entry until 19th November. The reason is, I’m going to Apia, Samoa for one week of project trip (no Internet connection in hotel and no Maxis roaming), I’ve no choice but to spend my birthday over there too :(

Samoa is not a widely known destination among Malaysians, 4 out of my 5 friends did not know where is it, and even I was surprised that I’ve to actually go there for project purposes.
It’s a tiny little country (less than 200k population) at the south pacific ocean (kinda scary when I see it from the world map -_-). I’ll have to take a MAS flight to Sydney, and then take Polynesian blue (sort of a budget airline there) to Faleolo Airport. The whole entire trip itself will be terribly long and boring, I expect it to be more or less 18 hours (including waiting time in Sydney airport)
Although Samoa is not really meant to be a perfect travel destination, I’m sure it will be a good experience for me, at least I’m going somewhere that no many people have even heard of it, understand their culture there and whatnots :D
So, no new blog entry for now. But once I’m back, I’ll tell you guys regarding my experience there, together with some photos.
Cya guys!
