My wallet is getting fatter recently. Not because I have load of cash, not because I am rich. It’s simply because I’m getting more and more cards! On top of my ID, ATM card and driving license, I have:

• Name cards (from different people, friends, customers, loan sharks…)
• Credit cards
• Medical/Health cards
• Others - Discount card (restaurant, shopping mall etc), Touch n’ Go, Enrich Member card etc.

Out of so many cards, Credit cards contribute the most space in my wallet - I have five!!! Reasons? Friends’ persuasion, attractive promotion or just simply thought it’s cool (how stupid -_-) It is definitely not fun to own so many credit cards! Those who say more credit cards = wealthier deserve a whack!

I tend to use cash whenever it’s possible, so there’s basically no risk for me to go bankrupt for over-spending using CC. However, it’s just so irritating for me to receive so many bills (even with 0 amount) every month together with those promotional vouchers etc. And there’s no reason for me to pay for the annual fees for some cards that I haven’t even used it till now!

Time to cancel some already in the year of 2007 - sorry Banks! :p
