Mumbai, India

Hello folks, I’m back already after a week of inactive period in the site of leetle kid. In this entry, I are gonna write something about the place I’ve just visited - Mumbai, India.
India is the sixth country I’ve ever visited. Although I did not have much time exploring Mumbai because of the rather hectic schedule, here are my few impressions about the most populous city in India (if not the World) that I can share:
- Extremely high density (27,220/km² according to Wikipedia), I could see huge bunch of people everywhere in city. In some areas especially when they were waiting for bus or crossing the road. It was so packed that I found it difficult just to walk from one place to another!
- If you think traffic congestion in KL is serious, then you’ll find yourself lucky if you compare it with Mumbai. The distance from my hotel to the airport was probably 30KM, but it took me two hours to reach there!
- Staying in a comfortable hotel in Mumbai is very, very expensive. With the price tag of USD 240/night, the quality is almost the same as the USD 80/night hotels that I used to stay in Indonesia/Thailand.
- I guess economic gap in India is quite big, while some of the wealthiest group of people can afford to enjoy some real luxury lifestyle there, there is also a big number of poor kids make their living by begging in the streets.
- While it might not be the most comfortable city to stay in, the trip gives me a lot of useful experience, which is especially beneficial to my career (since the customers are generally very competent and have high expectation)
I think that’s about it (as I said, I really haven’t explored Mumbai well because of the trip duration), but before publishing this entry, I’d share some pictures with you guys :)

Because it is compulsory for me to state the obvious: India’s HUEG!!!1111
