Kaju Katli
Mar 16th, 2007 by ck
Sorry for my lack of update in LeetleKid.com lately, I’ve been really tired working and haven’t been getting enough rest. I’m a bit free now and decided to write something about food.
Indian sweets and desserts are something that you cannot miss if you are in India.
Among all the sweets, “Kaju Katli” is my favourite. It is a famous Maharashtrian sweet made of cashews, ghee, sugar and sometimes coated in silver foil. Though it doesn’t look visually appealing, the aroma of cashews makes it a great after-meal snack, and it tastes especially perfect for those with sweet tongue.
With the guidance of my colleague, I managed to get myself 250gm of it from a sweets shop at Thane for my own consumption. I’ll definitely get more for my friends just before I leave Mumbai.
Meanwhile, there’s only a picture for you :-D

o yummie…looks delicious
dis looks like nougat…. i want also!!
u guys sure you’ve tried it before? >_<
It tastes quite nice actually, but maybe not everybody likes it. The reason I like is that I love the aroma of cashew nuts and it’s not too overly sweet :)
