F1 Season 2007 - Kimi or McLaren?
Mar 17th, 2007 by ck

Formula One first race in season 2007 is set to start tomorrow in Melbourne, Australia.
F1 is my favourite auto racing sport since 10 years ago, back then I was a hardcore McLaren fan and a typical anti-Ferrari (Schumacher to be precise) for some reasons. Throughout the years, though McLaren has been under-achieving or rather inconsistent, Kimi Räikkönen is definitely my favourite driver, he put some brave display especially in season 2003 and 2005.
This year however, there are some big changes - Schumi has retired, my dear Kimi has joined Ferrari, and my disliked driver - Fernando Alonso is now in McLaren. I’m in total dilemma now - whom should I support? I’m definitely a big fan of Kimi regardless where he goes (weee he has just won the pole position this morning) but I still like McLaren - both of them are serious title contenders and I’ve to end up supporting both >_< It’s more difficult than choosing a gf I tell you!
Nevertheless, it’s an interesting season to watch - first year without Schumi, Bridgestone being the sole tires provider, promising fresh faces like Lewis Hamilton and whatnots. Now what? Get ready for Melbourne race-day tomorrow!
Update: Congrats to Kimi for winning the race in his Ferrari debut :-) cheers

Congratulations to Kimi! He has just won in his debut for Ferarri! McLaren is doing great too with two podium finishes (Fernando Alonso 2nd and Lewis Hamilton 3rd).
As expected, it’s a close battle between Ferrari and McLaren for this season - but to me Ferrari looked somewhat dangerous with Felipe Massa started from the end and ended up as no 6. This is going to be interesting :-)
