Settling down in yet another long stay

Don’t know what title to choose, when I’ve too many things to tell, it’s very difficult for me to choose a title!
First and foremost, I finally got my 3G data card from my project manager, a device that can be plugged into my laptop via the USB port and allows me to get connected to Internet anytime, anywhere in Mumbai. Though the speed is just 240kbps, it’s good enough for me to check my emails, chat in messenger and even write a blog article. The good thing is I don’t have to use restricted Internet in my customer’s office network and pay for USD12 per day for expensive Internet in the hotel. It looks something like this:

What’s next? I’ve had really tough time entering the customer’s office area in the first two days (which is a big compound and they call it “Knowledge City”), I had to queue for half an hour but it ended up with the receptionist saying that my record is not in their system, I then had to call up the project manager there but he said he couldn’t do anything with it! What kind of reply was that? Their bureaucracy really drove me mad! Anyways, I managed to get myself an interim pass which grants me access to the office premises for 2 weeks (and expendable), thank god this is going to save me hell a lot of time.
Apart of these, this trip has more fun because I’ve a colleague with me. It’s always good to have a companion (preferably peers). He has gone back yesterday night though, but should be coming back here again next Thursday, this means that I’ve to be alone here for 4-5 days T_T Anyways, because of my rather tight schedule, there’s not much time for me to feel bored. Whenever I’m bored in the car I can listen to music with my Sony Ericsson W880i, hehe.
But well, overall I settle down here pretty well compare to my last trip. I’ll write more about my experience another time, especially when I got the chance to go somewhere interesting, ciao~

what is the rate for the 3G service? free? :p
LOL, it’s based on volume. Heavy usage would be around RM100 per month but it’s charged my company though :P
